Storytelling + Music as part of Didsbury Arts Festival

ِShahireh Sharif will be introducing Shahnameh (The Book of kings), a poetry book written over a millenium ago by Ferdowsi, a Persian poet. Then she will tell the story of Gordafarid, a female warrior. The stroy of Gordafarid would then be performed by Saeid Mokhtassi and Reza Ansari. They play guitar and read the poetry in its original language, Persian.
